Tens of millions of Americans chose perceived safety over freedom due to fear over a virus that has ultimately been proven to have a true mortality rate of around 0.02%and now the nation stands on the brink of economic collapse because of it.
And it’s not just that they gave up that freedom but that they were so willing to do it so easily.
The only real hope is that enough of the old American spirit remains, that it will again rise up and push back against the forces of willful ignorance and social unrest.
We shall see.
