In yet another case of eating their own, a growing number of far-left activists are now attacking NBA star LeBron James for his ongoing refusal to speak out against China’s tyrannical communist regime and its long-practiced form of sweat-shop slavery.

Mr. James is said to earn millions off of Chinese consumers via marketing product agreements between himself and Chinese corporations which are in turn, controlled by the Chinese government. It seems when it comes to personal profit, lives don’t really matter to certain NBA superstars.

Ummmmmmm ... what a load of clickbait! No Chinese corporations named, no products named, just a complaint that LeBron hasn't spoken out in support of Hong Kong. Why not have a headline of, "LeBron James Condemned for Silence About Hong Kong"? Because "Profiting", "Communist", and "Sweat Shop Slavery" get more clicks!

It's not like China has been angelic or there aren't Chinese companies that treat their workers like crap or the entire NBA except for LeBron have spoken out, but why not have the headline be accurate instead of invoking lurid bogeymen?!

Hong Kong democracy activist Joshua Wong accused LeBron James of hypocrisy after the NBA superstar moved to form a group supporting black voting rights in the U.S.

Wong, the former student protester who has testified before the U.S. Congress on behalf of Hong Kong democracy activists, said in a tweet Thursday that James’s position clashes with his past comments on the protests in the former British colony. James was widely criticized in Hong Kong last year for calling basketball executive Daryl Morey’s support for the city’s protesters “misinformed.”

“Defending democracy is vital, but @KingJames only talks loud in the US,” Wong said. “All he cares about is money, not human rights. Hypocritical.”  ...

A Hong Kong activist who testified before the U.S. Congress on behalf of democratic protesters accused NBA superstar Lebron James of blatant hypocrisy.

Early Thursday morning, Joshua Wong said James, who backed the George Floyd protests but failed to support freedom protests in Hong Kong over the past year, "only talks loud in the US." He highlighted the basketball player's criticism of Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey, whom he called "misinformed" after the manager threw his support behind Hong Kong demonstrations in October 2019.  ...

Though James has willingly waded into political discourse, his silence on the authoritarian regime of the Chinese Communist Party has drawn criticism from some who viewed his October comments on the situation as stemming from the economic interests of the NBA in China.   ...

LeBron indeed has not been silent on Hong Kong, indeed speaking out ridiculing the Rockets GM who spoke out in support of Hong Kong freedom seekers.  This effectively means LeBron supports the squashing of rights for Hong Kong citizens.
