But sure, yeah, tell me about that fancy degree you have
Since I think I had a harder curriculum in HIGH SCHOOL.

In North Carolina, 26 percent of UNC system students earned a “D,” “F,” or “W” (a withdrawal) in mathematics and statistics courses between fall 2015 and spring 2018.

But instead of investigating ways to improve math education, North Carolina university leaders have decided to create alternate “pathways” for students who are less math-minded. According to UNC administrators, gateway and entry-level math courses—like college algebra—are “stumbling blocks” for too many students.

1)  The fact that these college kids are failing ENTRY LEVEL COURSES is an indictment of the publik skool sistim that produced them.  But if you don't know my opinion on the publik skool sistim by now, let me sum it up for you in a few short sentences:  Burn the publik skool sistim and the Department of "Education" to the ground.  Bulldoze the ashes.  Salt the earth where it stood so that it will be barren for centuries, and leave it as a warning to everyone else who passes by.
