Biden: Probably '10 to 15 percent' of Americans 'are just not very good people'

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday said that 10 to 15 percent of “people out there that are just not very good people.”

Speaking during a virtual town hall with young Americans, Biden discussed the importance of a president setting an example for the country on issues of race during a conversation moderated by actor Don Cheadle.

Biden accused President Trump of dividing the nation, saying “The words a president says matter, so when a president stands up and divides people all the time, you’re going to get the worst of us to come out.”


“Do we really think this is as good as we can be as a nation? I don’t think the vast majority of people think that,” the former vice president added. “There are probably anywhere from 10 to 15 percent of the people out there that are just not very good people, but that’s not who we are. The vast majority of the people are decent, and we have to appeal to that and we have to unite people — bring them together. Bring them together.”

Oh yeah... unite people and bring them together....kinda like you and your puppet-master Barry did for eight years, while destroying the American health care industry/system.  Stoking racial divide every chance you got.   Executive orders out the wazoo, but all OK since it was being done by a "clean, articulate black guy".

As for that 10-15% of people that are not very good.... just have a peek at the (now empty?) prisons for a glimmer of people that are not very good.  And most of them vote (shock, surprise)....DemocRAT.   They vote for people just like you, Joe.  Pervs, liars, traitors and thieves (stealing from the US taxpayer).   So guess what, Joe.  You should know about "not very good people".

You're one of that 10-15%.

Considering his past comments and attitudes on race, I suspect he was thinking of the percentage of black folk in America.

Whatever his answer, it is not an effective box to volunteer to be in.

I call it an unforced error.

Maybe Hillary can provide some consulting.

(Trump himself meant well with his Charlottesville "good people" remark, but it  is another exampleof unforced error)

IIRC, there was a serious discussion among Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn....or was it Valerie Jarrett and Hillary Clinton...that they would be willing to cull 25-35 million people from the U.S.A. to achieve their Utopia.

That's about '10 percent of Americans', btw.
