Let's hope so. Some of the crap, especially with NOT administering the essential Zinc Sulfate (or Zinc Gluconate) with the Hydroxychloroquine, and doing not so early on, but instead reserving it for severe cases and then claiming it didn't work, was not only irresponsible, imho, it ranges from criminal negligence to murder.

The media pooh-poohing UV treatments and the silence or with support of the medical community, which if properly administered have potential to supplant or replace vaccination, or the use of antiseptic (when hydrogen peroxide is used in nebulizer treatments for COPD and may show benefit with COVID)--just to get in digs on the POTUS borders on obscenity. (MSN even scrubbed a story about the use of UV piped into the lungs with fiber optics to kill the virus.)

They are not doing 'science', have quit looking for an answer, but instead are promoting THEIR answer, for prestige and profit, even if it isn't the best answer. And they are playing politics with a cure.

Coronaviruses mutate, to the point that there is no vaccine for the common cold, also commonly caused by coronaviruses (which are a class of virus, named for their structure). I really don't know why the medical community is even pimping the vaccine bit, except to make money, and Bill Gates, is pumping funding, not just into 'vaccine research', but into the W.H.O. to push this.

While dropping the virus through the pores of a N-95 mask might approach dropping a BB through an open boxcar door, masks aren't completely useless, as they reduce the velocity any escaping droplets can muster from an infected person and stop most of them. The mask might stop someone from inhaling them if they have a mask on, too.
It's the droplets they stop, the droplets harbor the live virus, and the masks cut down on the amount of those in the air if people are wearing them (correctly, that is.)
I can't count the people I have seen with their mouth covered and their nose hanging out. That's about as effective as using a condom with the end cut off.
 
The masks might help people keep their hands off their face some, too.

The evidence per some studies just seems to indicate that the masks are not that great at preventing infection.

Though speculations about Japan and other such cultures where masks have been routinely worn for years due to pollution--the rates of infection are greatly lower than the USA.
