Yep. You called it.

The major Casinos in Vegas said they're not opening until May 31, so the memo is slow to get around to the blue states.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16

See what happens if the middle finger of justice lights a fire in hearts and minds... They may well be opening sooner than they think.

They might!  The Guv hasn't spoken yet, so...no...hurry....

While the big boys fiddle this one out in Carson City, the tourist attraction across the river from me is shit out of business.  The Guv will never let them operate in Laughlin if the big boys in Vegas don't want it.

I remember that one, from 9/11.

That's right. This is the same dang thing.

Same ol thing. This needs to piss Americans off. Then they won't be scared. Then they will come together. Then they'll go back to work regardless of Uncle Nanny. And that's the only damn thing that will lift us up by the bootstraps.

People in unregulated industries will.  I can't say the same for people who need license to work, from the Casinos on down to the Hairdressers and Manicurists.  Those people are screwed and will have to go to the underground to work.

Nah. Won't take long if folks nullify uncle nanny's orders. It is an election year after all.

And that's where the rubber meets the road most times.  I wish my Gov wasn't term-limited in 2022, because he's acting like he doesn't GAF about standing up to the big city Mayors.

A couple of them (in TX I think) got caught with a sting entrapment deal.  However, if the state gummint wants to stand by punishing these two they'll have a lot of competition.

One of them things I wish I had a woman around for... Except they want to cut on it way too often. But I'd put up with that again, I'd reckon. As it is, I do for myself, with the sheep shears.

My mamma can do, but her hands can't take it too much no more, and my sis can do, but she is awful busy... Maybe I oughta get my DIL goin on it... She'll be having kids pretty soon, and will have to know how.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Unless diagnosed, you don't. There are some of us who work in the oil patch and related injuries who were in contact with people in the early part of this year from other states which are now hotspots who wonder if we didn't have it. There was a 'bug' going around, low grade fever, lung crud, slow to go away completely, that may have been 'it'. I don't know, but our state's numbers remain low, especially in the oil patch counties, while the East side (no oil) is leading the map in infections.

As for empowering your immune system, yes, you can. THrough maintaining levels of nutrients through diet or supplements you can bolster your immune system.

Reading things like this: Zinc Ionophore Activity of Quercetin and Epigallocatechin-gallate: From Hepa 1-6 Cells to a Liposome Model https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jf5014633#
May even lead to the conclusion, that coupled with Zinc Gluconate supplementation, one might even be able to preload their cells with zinc and avoid the virus altogether.

So, this may be done through the consumption of green tea, and a zinc supplement.

Other dietary considerations may provide resistance to viruses as well.

Ever notice how some people never seem to get a cold?

Thank you.  Yes that would be me.  The last flu I had was after receiving my FREE flu shot.  103 fever, sore arm, couldn't move it for days, was about 16 years ago  No flu or cold since then. NO FLU SHOT EITHER.  As a mother & grandmother, I do know how a fever acts. So about 16 years no colds, nothing. That is because as young person, I already got all the virus's and have built up immunity. First covid.  Low fever, 2 days in a row, late in the afternoon. Most others know, that is when fevers are the worst. Then it went into the top of my lungs. NO SNIFFLES, NO SNEEZING, NO COUGH. No bowel issue, no throwing up. Took about 5 days, gone. Almost 2 months later, again, low fever in afternoon, daily for about 7 days.  Again into lungs, but not bad.  NO OTHER SYMPTOMS. Very strange.
What I read, it can repeat. MUTATE.  Only low fever (99?)and some lung issues.  I don't get the 'attack' by that person or the issue with me saying," I think I had it twice. " My mom was a nutritionist from Europe and my brother is a doctor in California.  When I was young I wanted to have a heath food store. NATURAL HEALING.

Utter bullshit post.....

(1) Unless diagnosed how do you know you have had COVID-19?
(2) Shored up your immunity?  Lot's of anecdotal that  supplement can help, there is absolutley no proof that relying on these supplements will help you prevent infection.  Terribly irresponsible of you claim or tell others to do this to prevent that infection.
(3) You have antibodies associated with a prior infection?  No. 1, you already stated you haven't been diagnosed, and (2) Not all who get infected develop a serilogical antibodies.  (
(4) If your body was so fortified with antibodies, how did you get it twice?   Geez.....

BULLSHIT POST?  CYBER?   CALLING ME A TOOL?  If I said any of that, you would be, all over me!
----
@Catfish, you have some reading comprehension problems. Why does it matter to you, what I posted?

No where, did I say,  I had covid-19.  I said. I believe, I did.  As a living person, mother & grandmother, I know about fevers and symptoms. My symptoms were consistent with information of what covid-19 manifests as.
Yes, I shored up my immune system. Plan to have my elderberry tincture I made, into a cordial, later.  I DID NOT TELL ANYONE TO DO THIS.  I am talking about, what I did.
It mutates.  What is your real problem?  Why so over the top?  PEOPLE on here are adults and smart enough to know about vitamins, sunshine etc.  'Take what you want, leave the rest."  If I said on here, you should drink bleach, lysol, would YOU DO IT?  I do think, you already ate some TIDE PODS.

Back in 1994 the Thunderbirds came to Madison,WI to do the air show. I worked in a paint factory right in downtown Madison at the time an' got to watch them practicing the day before the show. It was awesome. One of the planes actually flew right by our building at rooftop level then did a pylon turn around the smokestack at the powerplant about three blocks away from the Capital building. I also saw them fly right overhead in close six plane formation then do a pylon turn out over the lake. The next day they went up an' did it all over again. Of course the next day a number of guys brought video cameras to work.

The only controls I want on my guns are the ones that I operate myself such as trigger, bolt or slide, safety selector, magazine release an' optics. All others are unnecessary an' unwanted.

The Lakers?  You got to be shitting me.  This is a damn outrage.

@catfish1957

The Lakers said they are returning the money. But the question is how did they qualify for it in the first place?

Quote
“The Lakers qualified for the program because they have only about 300 employees. But last year Forbes estimated the team was worth $3.7bn, making it the eighth-most valuable team in the world just behind the New England Patriots and Manchester United.”

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2020/apr/28/la-lakers-small-business-relief-loan-coronavirus-basketball

Mnuchin is not happy.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/04/28/mnuchin-says-it-was-outrageous-for-the-lakers-other-such-businesses-to-take-small-business-loans.html

Meanwhile I know of at least two small businesses, one being the excavating contractor my ex-husband works for with less than 30 employees, that were not able to secure loans to stay in business and keep their employees paid before the money ran out. 9999hair out0000
