Is that your righteous cause? Then why are you still genuflecting towards Trump, who betrayed you and the movement he founded?
'Truth' is my righteous cause. I don't worship Trump. I am not a Trump loyalist. If anything, I am a Trump apologist. Trump was never in a position to betray me. I already knew who he was. His movement is not my movement. Mine is, has, and always will be a federal government that abides by the limitations placed upon it by our Founding Fathers, and that lives within its means.
We are not of the same mindset here. Just because you are obsessed with opposing Trump 24/7, you wrongly assume that I am obsessed with doing the opposite. There has been plenty that Trump has done that I didn't support, and I made no secret about that at the time. But the one thing that prompts me again and again to defend him is hearing him attacked and smeared relentlessly with lies.
If you just told the truth about him, you wouldn't get any pushback. Want to talk about the deficit? I won't defend his actions there. Want to talk about tariffs? Still not a believer in the Trump approach. His entrepreneurial personality? I could never work for someone like that (since I have never been a personal loyalist). But when you make things up on the fly, and then six days later take the exact opposite side, just for the purpose of blaming Trump for all the nation's ills, well then I am going to call you out.
