The 2020 presidential election is starting to mirror the 2016 election in even the small details, including the parade of supposed experts in news media confidently predicting the Democratic establishment’s odds of electoral success in the fall.
On Wednesday, after Sen. Bernie Sanders dropped out of the 2020 Democratic primary, NBC News anchor Andrea Mitchell and her guests all agreed that the Vermont lawmaker’s decision represents the “worst-case†scenario for Trump. Why? Because it means the president now has to run against his “nightmare†opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden.
