I guess Freedom of the Press also includes Freedom to be an idiot.  Still, this is a national emergency and this level of craziness needs to be screened out by proper security.

This is all just so stupid.

Assuming what they have told us about the incubation period and virulency are correct, there's no way that shutting everything down for a week or two would "kill" the virus.  It would still be out there, and it would start spreading again as soon as those restrictions were lifted.
