 UNC alters admissions requirements for THREE years in response to coronavirus

    The UNC System Board decided on Monday to adopt a new admission standard in the fall due to the coronavirus.

    The new standard will allow students to meet either the minimum GPA or standardized test score instead of meeting both.

Three years because that's the duration of the cohort that had a year of high school (assuming NC has 9th grade usually as part of middle school or junior high) screwed up by the pandemic.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.
