Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is demanding the racial data of those contracting the novel coronavirus, contending that it is “critical to ensuring an equitable and just response to this crisis across the board.”

While the virus appears to be no respecter of persons, infecting more than one million people globally, Warren believes it is “critical” to have racial data to properly respond to the pandemic.
 
“Our health care system is rife with racial disparities. Racial data on coronavirus will be critical to ensuring an equitable and just response to this crisis across the board,” she wrote in a tweet, referencing an article from the Atlantic.

“But we don’t have that data—yet,” she added:

That’s why last week @AyannaPressley and I sent a letter to HHS urging them to collect and release racial data on coronavirus. I’m grateful that our colleagues @CoryBooker, @KamalaHarris and @RobinLynneKelly have signed on—and I urge others to do the same.https://t.co/M62oNoFZQV

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared Friday that inequality is a preexisting health condition and that minority and low-income communities should receive coronavirus relief in the form of reparations.

“COVID deaths are disproportionately spiking in Black + Brown communities,” the New York democratic socialist tweeted to her 6.6 million followers. “Why? Because the chronic toll of redlining, environmental racism, wealth gap, etc. ARE underlying health conditions.

“Inequality is a comorbidity,” she wrote. “COVID relief should be drafted with a lens of reparations.”

Honestly, I doubt this virus is hitting any race or "special" group any more than whites.  This nonsense is just politicians trying to turn a disease into some evil plot by white Christians.  It's an effort to gin up racial, social and economic divides which in turn translate into votes for them.  Democrats and their commie backers, along with their allies in the media, are good at stirring up *bleep* for political gain.

Practicing social distancing and avoiding gatherings of ten or more is really difficult when you have four families living in a two or three bedroom home

Locally in state, there is one county that has 4X the infection rate of the rest of the state population wise...  This small county (Chambers) has about a 40% minority black population and two large black churches have been hit hard.... I took the liberty of watched their FB church services from 2 weeks ago and I don't think you could find a more imperfect way to social distance. It was just as if they were totally unaware of the dangers they were putting on themselves. At one funeral (also two weeks ago) it was just the same, constant contact between members.

I was actually embarrassed the lack of discernment among my Christian brothers and sisters. Be cunning my Christian friends, be wise, understand how this virus works...

All Warren's data will show is yes probable it will affect the black communities more, but only because they allow it to do so. I know she wants to spin it to some conspiracy reparations angle, but all of us know it will just show that some people make poorer choices.

        When one traffics in lives of dependency, living only for today, and "somebody-do-for-me-ism," one is ill-equipped to deal with life's travails, be it a hurricane in New Orleans or a virus sweeping the country.
