Biden offers to call Trump to discuss national coronavirus response

Former Vice President Joe Biden is offering to call President Trump and talk about how to best deal with the coronavirus outbreak.

The Democratic presidential frontrunner has been critical of the Trump administration's handling of the pandemic through statements and virtual press conferences.

The potential correspondence was first reported by Fox News; a Biden campaign aide later confirmed the former Vice President's willingness to talk with Trump to The Hill.


"Vice President Biden has been extending his advice for months, and he did so again on the air last night. As he has said repeatedly, Donald Trump is not accountable for coronavirus itself -- but he is accountable for the federal government's slow and chaotic response to this outbreak," Biden's deputy campaign manager, Kate Bedingfield said in a statement.

Biden has demonstrated, for weeks, that he is ignorant of what has been done and is happening, and frequently incoherent. Why would Trump waste his time?

There is absolutely nothing that Biden could do here other than to waste the valuable time of Trump.

Biden is turning into a Jimmy Carter who continues to believe what he has to offer is somehow valuable.

Oh ... I see an underlying reason why Slow Joe is making this offer now.  Once this is contained he wants to take full credit.  Nothing more than that.  He could give a crap about this country.  Slow Joe is up to his eyebrows with the Chinese in corruption and I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow knew about "plans" for this virus.
