Well I see I have taken a trashing once again 1. On this I am suspicious of almost all chemical drugs 2. If it is working then yes, I apologize. But I personally believe that almost all medications have and adverse affect on your health and there should be scrutinized and tested 3. And many seniors are prescribed so much medicine and one leads to another prescription. I am of the opinion that many people are taking things that are perscribed just to counter the affects of another drug.
I posted this from Politico. I don't consider them a liberal source. More of a centrist source 4. But if the medicine is really saving lives I agree it should be used, but only for those whose life is seriously in danger.
About the drug and side affects

1 @Chosen Daughter, I posted facts.
How was I "trashing" you?! If you feel someone "trashed" you, taken it up with them and/or with Mod staff. Don't throw it in my face!
2 Why, as the article you posted did, question Chloroquine's efficacy if you are "suspicious of almost all chemical drugs"? BTW, water is a chemical, and can be deadly if enough is ingested; ultra-pure water even more so.
3 That all drugs have side-effects and maximum safe dosages is a secret to almost no one (OK, it is a secret to young children). Chloroquine has been in use since, IIRC, the 1930s (approved for use in the US in 1944). Its side-effects and proper dosing have been known longer than I've been alive. That couple in Arizona to whom I alluded: ingested aquarium treatment that contains chloroquine (and other things), not actual medication; did it without consulting a doctor, let alone doing it under doctor's supervision.
4 I did not characterize Politico in my post to which you responded as liberal, conservative, or whatever. If someone did, take it up with them.
