What I want to know is why are the idiots still running all those electronic billboards if no one is there to watch? Complete waste of electricity it seems.

I’m surprised no one has commented on this. Doesn’t it look like some kind of apocalyptic movie, or a scene from “Life Without People?â€

It reminds me of this old Arby's commercial. Classic.
massadvj:
This is a socialist's dream world. Everyone is locked up in their quarters, living in fear, waiting for the next edict from the all-powerful government to tell them that it is safe to come out into public. Only the "approved" businesses are allowed to engage in commerce, the rest must endure the hardships imposed by a largely arbitrary shutdown.
No wonder Cuomo seems so ecstatic as he feigns righteous indignation at those who might question whether it is sensible to shut down the greatest city in the world to prevent hospital overcrowding. But wait. The draconian measures did not prevent hospital overcrowding. Now New York must deal with BOTH hospital overcrowding and the subsequent increases in drug dependency, mental illness, suicides, homelessness and other consequences of the draconian and ill-conceived policy.
When will this madness stop?
