Ok, I think this might be the real story.  Seems that Griffith had some pain in her abdomen, possibly caused by an infection not related to the coronavirus.  But she's unhappy that she demanded a coronavirus test, but was denied:

You don't get a test because you demand one. If she showed symptoms of the CV, then she would. When a DR orders any tests, there is a line that says "Reason for x." Because a pt bitched for one isn't a reason and Medicare and insurance wouldn't pay.

If a pt isn't normally on oxygen at home,checking O2 sats would determine if she needed it or not.

What's outrage is (1) She tried to steal a "hard to secure" test for herself, that would be intended to for a deserving patient.  (2) Occupied a hospital bed during an national emergency, where these are at a premium.  (3) Took hospital, MD, Nurse, etc.  time and resources for a condition that likely could have handled by a PCP with a script.

This bitch is despicable.

Well, now I'm reading that abdominal pain can be a symptom of this virus.  So I guess I was wrong when I said acute pain was not a symptom.  Still, I think whatever abdominal issues she may have had (and I'm not sure I'm buying even that part of her story) came from something else.  She had said she and her husband had been traveling and she mentioned Mexico, so maybe she had some form of Montezuma's Revenge.  I don't know -- just guessing.

Instead of whining and pointing fingers at Trump and others, why doesn't she use her talents and resources to help others?  I've read a number of famous people are stepping up during this crisis.  She can buy surgical masks and contribute toward tests and equipment like ventilators and respirators.  She could help people who have lost their jobs with food and other groceries.    She could adopt or foster a pet.  She could get takeout or delivery from a local restaurant.  Hundreds of way she can help instead of complaining.

AFAIK,she has not had a regular gig since that show was cancelled,except for her own freak show where she was showing herself being "all fabulous" as she flew somewhere in a chartered jet with her "my gays" fan base. I think even the homosexuals have abandoned her now,and the only reason they "loved" her back then was she was always ranting about "how great the gays are".

Actually, Wikipedia lists a couple of gigs done in 2019, so she is working -- sort of.  And I also read she is worth $30 million, although that figure might not be accurate or current.  Plus she does have a husband who can support her if need be. No, I don't think she's hurting financially. 

Yes, I am aware that people don't like her and that's not just the Trump supporters who were appalled by that severed Trump head stunt.  I just think she's not a very nice person.  However, one possible advantage to her might be if she did help others at this time, it might go a long way toward rehabilitating her in the eyes of colleagues and the public in general.   That rehabilitation could translate into more gigs and more money.   She would be helping herself as well as helping others.

Like I said, that number might be old or just plain wrong.  But still, I don't think she is in dire financial straits.
