Unfortunately, thanks to the work of Joshua Prager (first in The Wall Street Journal and then in the book that developed from that, The Echoing Green), it's really The Giants stole the pennant! The Giants stole the pennant!

Or How about the 7th inning stretch? I want a dirty water dog, and Cracker Jack.

These days, at a lot of ballparks, you could theoretically make full dinner during the seventh inning stretch. ;)
