I wish I could get at it easy - I am ripe to watch it again... I reckon I could sign up for Hulu for a month to get it out of my system (that's where it is right now) But I strictly refuse to support hollywood, so if I want to see it, I have to go watch it overseas or on some hacker site.

Get it for 'free' because am one of those saps who pays $225 @ month for FIOS internet and TV.

LOL!  Right now FIOS is offering "new customers" (I've been with them for twelve years) a new sound-bar free of charge.

The other day my buddy says..."David...drop all your premium channel crap...I've got a library with 8,000 movies...you can watch for free...
...just name one.

I said, "Louis Amour's Crossfire Trail"

[silence...on the line]

I got off that train as one of my first steps toward subsistence living. I already know how to navigate media on the internet, and have known a long time. The final straw for me was when Charter converted to digital encrypted signal - which meant I had to rent a decoder for each of my tvs for 20 bucks a month... 3 tvs... my bill went from 125 to 185 in one smelt poop - and that with no added value whatsoever.

NOPE. Screw that.

And so ever since, I spent under 100 per tv to hook a PC to each, to include a special wireless KB with glidepad and cancelled all my media services except the actual cable bandwidth.

That's 70 per month that I need anyway for my tech shop. So just in the savings alone I paid for the conversion in about three months. I guess you could call BS on the fact that I replaced pooters several times by now - but they come to me so cheap that they really only cost me the elbow grease to fix em.

So the 70 bucks a month...
Plus I have netflix on a family plan, which costs me 70 bucks a year,
Plus I have Amazon Prime, which I use for the business anyway, so it is a free spiff.

That is my entire investment into media, and I am soon to dump netflix. I can find anything I want online for nothing anyway.

I'm effing watching effing Yellowstone right effing now. The mother effing show is about a bunch of effing cowboys who resemble the effing mafia. All the effing characters are basically effing impossible to effing like.
 Did I effing mention that virtually every effing character uses the eff word. An effing lot. All the effing women too seem to use it like taking a drink of effing water.
It seems the eff word is very popular in Montana. Even effing high ranking politicians in formal conversations with other effing people.
Other than those objections the scenery is effing wonderful. I effing think.

Best review ever !  :thumbsup:

Before you kill the switch on Netflix, you MUST watch FATHER STU.

You will never 'see' Mark Wahlberg the same way.  Tremendous cast/screenplay/story.  He financed the production out of his own funds.

...sort of like a Sylvester Stallone/Rocky endeavor.

Watched it yesterday,and my biggest shock was Netflix allowing a movie highlighting Christian Faith to be added.

Malcolm in the Middle on HULU.
Never saw a single episode before now. It's good. But, I can only take a couple of episodes at a time.
I like it.

You are going to LOVE it. So good a regularly-scheduled episode of "Breaking Bad" pulled in higher Neilsen ratings than an NFL seasonal play off game in the home city of one of the teams playing.

I THINK this was in Detroit,but can no longer remember for sure.

Be sure to start with Season 1,episode 1,or it won't make any sense to you.

I can't watch shows about serial killers who murder children. Neither could I watch the series about Dahmer.

Do you remember him as the rather odd dentist in Seinfeld?

P.S. never saw breaking bad, but I will on your recommendation. I loved the wire, per your suggestion
BB is the most binge-worthy series I've ever seen. Even more than The Sopranos.

@sneakypete

I watched the first episode of “Breaking Bad”, it was good.

@Gefn

Stick with it. The first few episodes basically just introduce you to the characters,and then it REALLY starts to take off.

If you want a comedy series that leaves you stunned after every episode,watch "Shameless",starring William H. Macey. He plays a character named "Frank Gallagher",and there is NO "low" so low that Frank can't slither under it.

I told my ex to watch it,and she later called me back and told me she just bing-watched the first season,and then paused to take a breath before watching the other  seasons.

@goatprairie

I did like The Sopranos. Thank you for the recommendation.

Tonight I have to watch “Resident Alien”. Alan Tudyk is a good actor. If you like SF, this might be a good show to watch.

I’ll have time Friday night @sneakypete so I’ll give it a whirl. Thank you!

Before Breaking Bad there was "Nip Tuck".  Quite bazaar at times, but it captured our attention.

So sick of "news"...so sick of "WOKE" scripts and LGBTQ, so while channel surfing,
stopped at the beginning of QUIGLEY DOWN UNDER (1990), with Tom Selleck, Alan
Rickman and Laura San Giacomo.
