Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden made extreme remarks during CNN’s presidential debate on Sunday night, suggesting that he would end the oil industry’s ability to drill, would ban new fracking projects, and would take millions of cars off the road.

“No more subsidies for fossil fuel industry, no more drilling on federal lands, no more drilling including offshore, no ability for the oil industry to continue to drill,” Biden said. “Period. Ends.”

Yeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh. That goes so far beyond violating the 5th Amendment "Takings Clause" that it even goes beyond Fascism and into Leninism-Stalinism. Whatever FDR's private opinions about nationalization, he didn't have Electric Boat, Kaiser, Boeing, Grumman, Douglas, Convair, Ford, Chrysler, GM, Willys, etc. nationalized.

I don't care how crazy ol' white Joe sounds -- he's still getting at least 45% of the voters on November 3rd.

That's his baseline... the starting point.

I'm on record here for my [earlier] prediction as to how the election will go. But I think I need to revise it.

Earlier, I had predicted that Mr. Trump would win in the electoral college with roughly the same total he got last time, perhaps pick up a state. Also, that he might just "break a majority" of the popular vote.

But with the explosion of the coronavirus onto the political and economic scene, things look to be changing. So here's my revision:

Mr. Trump -may- still win -- we do not know. If he does, he will win with FEWER electoral college votes than in 2016. And for a second time, he'll lose the popular vote.

Previously I had stated that he WOULD win.
But now... everything is tossed up into the air.
It's simply too early to know yet as to how the COVID-19 impact is going to play out.

And anyone who claims otherwise is a-talkin' into his hat...!

Joe is proposing an excellent way to speed up the process of subjugation to Russia and the Middle East.

While the US methodically destroys our lifestyle and defensive abilities as resources are diverted to fantasy schemes like driving ships and trucks with solar and wind, those who continue producing coal and oil will prosper.

Oil and Coal are the key to survival over the past 100 years.

It will remain that way, and those who control it win while those who do not have it lose.

Can you imagine him regulating the oil business into non-existence?  Hundreds of thousands of p&ssed off roughnecks headed to Washington...what a mess that would be.
