Fox Business says host Trish Regan on 'hiatus' amid controversial coronavirus remarks
By Tal Axelrod - 03/14/20 11:22 AM EDT

Fox Business announced this week that the show hosted by Trish Regan will be on “hiatus” following controversial remarks she made about the coronavirus.

“Fox Business’s prime-time programs Trish Regan Primetime and Kennedy will both be on hiatus until further notice,” the network said a statement, referring to Lisa “Kennedy” Montgomery, who hosts her own show on the network. “Due to the demands of the evolving pandemic crisis coverage, we are deploying all resources from both shows for staffing needs during critical market hours. Fox Business will run long form programming in prime time for the foreseeable future.”

Fox Business added the hiatus for Kennedy was related to staffing.

The announcement from Fox Business came amid fallout from Regan’s claims that the coronavirus is “another attempt to impeach” President Trump.

“We’ve reached a tipping point. The chorus of hate being leveled at the president is nearing a crescendo as Democrats blame him, and only him, for a virus that originated halfway around the world. This is yet another attempt to impeach the president,” she said Monday, adding that Democrats and the “liberal media” were using the coronavirus to “destroy the president.”

Regan’s comments led to an avalanche of criticism, with some saying the host should be permanently fired.

I guess, Fox didn't like how that came out... I might have even seen her say that, she posts video clips of her show at twitter.

I want to let everyone know that Trish Regan Primetime is now on hiatus. FBN has taken prudent steps to limit staffing levels and is prioritizing its coverage during market hours. I fully support this decision — we all must to do our part to keep our colleagues safe. #TrishRegan

Bottomline, she is saying different.

Because she was being honest. Fox Business is trying to ingratiate itself with the Propaganda Ministry For the Left-wing Fascist Agenda. Not that it will work.

Fox Business Puts Trish Regan, Kennedy Shows on Hiatus
By Brian Steinberg

Fox Business Network said it would scrap most of its primetime schedule by putting two of its programs on hiatus “until further notice” in order to staff coverage of the coronavirus crisis elsewhere within Fox News Media.

The network said in a statement that its 8 p.m. hour, “Trish Regan Primetime,” and 9 p.m. hour, “Kennedy,” would be replaced by long form programming.

“Due to the demands of the evolving pandemic crisis coverage, we are deploying all resources from both shows for staffing needs during critical market hours,” the network’s statement said.

So, the bongino link reads:  "Fox Puts Trish Regan and Kennedy's show on hiatus to Increase Coronavirus Coverage"

So, we can think either way, to me, this Variety article makes some sense.

Trish's twitter again: https://twitter.com/trish_regan and she makes no mention that this was because of her remarks.

I've seen Kennedy show, it's a good show too.
