Homegrown extremists — several known by the FBI — blamed for 20 attacks since 9/11, watchdog says

The FBI must better handle tips and leads about people who may carry out violent acts, including assessing whether individuals with mental health problems pose legitimate threats to public safety, according to a Justice Department watchdog report released Wednesday. So-called homegrown violent extremists are blamed for more than 20 attacks since Sept. 11, 2001.

The report from the inspector general's office identifies what it says are weakness and inconsistencies in how the FBI, across its 56 field offices, evaluates tips on subjects known as homegrown violent extremists. Those are people who are motivated by jihadist ideology and are operating in the U.S. independent of foreign terrorist organizations.

Maybe one improvement would be to stop calling effective law enforcement "racist" or "Islamophobia"! And punish false accusers and hoaxers! IOW, let law enforcement people do their jobs without fear of their careers being destroyed for being too effective!

I don't like white extremists anymore than I like violent hoodrats. I'd like to stick dynamite up all their kiesters and blast them into space.
But I think there's far more danger to the general public  from inner city males than there is from some idiot Nazis or other violent white a**hole groups. Twenty attacks in about twenty years by white extremists has not caused a fraction of the deaths caused by black  and Hispanic gang members in that time period.

Muslims worldwide kill hundreds of thousands of people every year.
But, let's not worry about that. White Christians are the real threat, as Obama pointed out numerous times.
