I would call on Schumer to apologize, but we all know he has no shame. So tomorrow I will introduce a motion to censure Schumer for his pathetic attempt at intimidation of #SupremeCourt

Thank God!

And in the Senate...assuming Turtle doesn't try to provide top cover for "The Gentleman from New York"...this should pass easily.

If there was any justice left, the United States Senate would remove Senator Schumer over this but the most WE can hope for is censure and I strongly doubt we will get even that!
Censure only requires a majority.

am really disappointed in GOP if it does not do that.

Is Chuckie the reason we lost Scalia at the Texas hunting lodge?

Maybe need to relook at exactly what happened there.

Cuomo needs to appoint AOC to his seat.

Considering a SCOTUS justice is maybe the most immune and protected job in government from removal or retribution, I can only interpret Schumer's comment as a threat of violence.

Actions of at least a censure, should be enacted ASAP.Would just take 51 votes.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Is that code that she needs to go after his ass?  With teeth like hers she could remove the flesh from his seat to his elbows in seconds.

He undoubtedly made a threat, not quite sure that it is necessarily a violent threat, but certainly he was trying to persuade the justices by intimidation. That has become the DEM way; intimidation and accusations until the DEMS get what they want.  It needs to stop NOW!  Good for Hawley.  It's about time.

“Sen. Schumer’s comments were a reference to the political price Senate Republicans will pay for putting these justices on the court, and a warning that the justices will unleash a major grassroots movement on the issue of reproductive rights against the decision."

Well, the uncanny time of his death certainly raised some suspicions.

“I want to tell you Justice Kavanaugh and Justice Gorsuch, you have unleashed a whirlwind, and you will pay the price,” Schumer said

Dems said the same thing to Eisenhower when he put the brakes on segregation.  Both then and now, Democrats line up against the Constitution.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

For this .. You and I would go to jail!

Criminal Threats

A criminal threat involves one person threatening someone else with physical harm.

Criminal threats are made with the intention to place someone in fear of injury or death.

It isn't necessary for a victim to experience fear or terror.

It is the intention of the person making the threat that matters.
(As in: "Don't mess with our baby killings!")

The intent of a person who makes threats is usually determined by the circumstances surrounding the case.

1) Nice to see the Chief Justice remembered where he stashed his spine in the Judges Chambers.

2) Schumer's comments are dangerous inciteful of violence and he should have a visit paid to him by the FBI and/or the Secret Service.

Any chance 2) is happening and we don't know anything about it?
Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.

@musiclady if it does it won't be reported by the media.  They barely made mention of his of his original comment.

And usual suspects weigh in who consider themselves immune to criticism:

Rep. Omar Tweets on Abortion Trigger Social Media Firestorm
"Two accused sexual predators should not be deciding whether or not women have access to healthcare in this country," Omar tweeted along with the news story link.

She followed up quickly with two more posts.

"Abortion is a constitutional right," she said in the first followup, adding in a second, "Abortion is healthcare."
