Russian troops entered the city of Saraqib on the front line in Idlib

DAMASCUS, (BM) – Units of the Russian military entered the city of Saraqib, located on the front line in the Syrian province of Idlib. This was reported in the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the warring parties, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.
The center noted the importance of control over Saraqib for security and travel along two key Syrian highways – M4 and M5.
In February, fierce fighting broke out between government forces and militants supported by Turkey in and around Sarakib. In early February, the Syrian army recaptured him from the rebels, by the end of the month briefly lost control of him and in early March returned him again.
