Alabama Senate contender hits Sessions in new ad: 'Hillary still ain't in jail'

Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-Ala.), who is running to unseat Sen. Doug Jones (D-Ala.) in November, released a new attack ad against fellow GOP primary contender and former Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

In the new 30-second ad, Bryne criticizes Sessions for being forced by President Trump to resign as attorney general.

The ad also states “Hillary [Clinton] still ain’t in jail," a possible dig at Sessions' record as attorney general.

Did a little reading on Rep. Byrne.  Doesn't sound like a bad candidate.  He's pro-Trump but he should also know that his hero didn't want Hillary prosecuted either.

Of course, this election is up to the people of Alabama, not me.

Hard to do when the first thing Trump did was let Hillary off the hook and suggest others keep their mittens off her (she has had enough).

Bradley Byrne has a D rating (nearly an F) conservative rating... It has gone up a bit lately from an solid F.... You can keep him...

Seems like the guy is inconsistent as all get-up. All of a sudden he decides he's going to vote conservative after Doug Jones gets elected. He was interestingly enough a Democrat before 1997. He was consistently leading polling in the 2010 governor's primary and yet lost to Robert Bentley. Was NOT endorsed by the Tea Party in his first run for Congress in 2013.

Seems like just as much of a swamp rat as Sessions.
