Five reasons why Democrat turnout will be depressed while GOP turnout will be high in November
By Thomas Lifson

Because the American electorate is rather evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats, turnout becomes the key to electoral success in November. While a lot can happen in nine months, there are five factors that I see discouraging Democrat turnout and helping the GOP.

The Biden family scandals

Thanks to Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler and the impeachment lynch mob, the lid has been blown off the Biden family’s practice of trading on the patriarch’s position to enrich themselves. Biden’s campaign is imploding, so he won’t be on the ballot. But the investigations of Hunter and Burisma are heating up and will cast a pall over the party. Biden was supposed to bethe unifier, a tangible link to the reign of St. Barack, whose appeal to blue collars and African-Americans was supposed to recover lost voters and motivate turnout among the most critical segment of the base.

I would add #6:

6)  The Iowa Caucus Debacle
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

After hearing the threats from DJT this evening about retribution, his response was  .... 'You'll see'.

I can see him going full scorched earth and unveiling information on the level of congressional (and families) corruption that has never been seen in this country.  Guliani has been globetrotting, and dropping subtle hints to that effect.  Biden just might be the tip of the iceberg.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

There is no charismatic figure on the Dem side to motivate semi-disinterested voters. In fact, they have two candidates, Sanders and Buttegieg, who either have political positions that turn off prospective voters or age factor /social positions or personal characteristics that turn them off. Even Liz Warren does not inspire female voters the way Hillary Clinton did. I don't know why she doesn't, she's just as big a leftist as Clinton.
Both Sanders and Buttigieg give speeches calling the U.S. an evil country.
Sanders is ancient and a virtual commie. He's hardly an inspirational figure.
Buttigieg tries to sound more reasonable, and he has a military background.
But he has two huge moral failings: he lies about his radicalism trying to come off as a moderate. And, of course,  he's a homosexual. That's the elephant in the room that even many "conservative" pundits/scribblers/commentators avoid mentioning.
Even conservative media types who do mention it state his homosexuality  doesn't bother them.
But it will certainly be a huge factor with millions of voters, like me, who will not tolerate a homosexual in the highest office.
And no, there's no proof James Buchanan was a homosexual. Read up on it.

I have been interested in politics since I was a kid, and i can honestly say that Sanders is the most obnoxious, unlikeable person who has ever ran for POTUS in my lifetime.

Think about it......a  major party nominating a man who is an avowed socialist and not even a member of their party.
But people are putting Sanders where he is. That shows how far down the intelligence and patriotic  sensibility of the average Dem voter has sunk.
I'd love to have Sanders voters live in a country with him and some other commies running things. Just not my country.
