Streatham terror attack: Two stabbed and man shot dead in London

Several people have been stabbed in Streatham, south London, and a man has been shot dead by police - in what they describe as a "terrorist-related" incident.

Images on social media show a person face down and apparently motionless on the ground outside Boots, with a police officer holding a gun.

Sky's home affairs correspondent Mark White said other photos appear to show him wearing something resembling a suicide vest.

It sounds similar to the other recent attack where they shot the guy because he was wearing a vest.

It also sounds like this happened in the last several hours.  And good! They are calling this an act of terror already.  Because of the vest, maybe they thought, they needed to be more forthcoming.

I thought of this  yesterday, they put on these fake suicide vests, they are asking to be shot and the behavior of bystanders yesterday was the same as the prior attempt about last Nov. or so. Huddle down behind something.  Suicide by cop.

This guy yesterday was under active surveillance by law enforcement, was recently let out of prison. One of the victims was in serious condition last I heard. No excuse for this.

The Streatham attack was the second lone Islamist-related terror attack in London in the past three months.

Sudesh Amman, 20, was shot dead by police on Streatham High Road after stabbing three people in what police have called a terrorist incident.

It follows a similar attack in November when five people were stabbed, two fatally, near London Bridge.

    LONDON (Reuters) – The man shot dead by police after wounding two people in a stabbing spree on a busy London street had been jailed for promoting violent Islamist material and had encouraged his girlfriend to behead her parents.

    He had also once written a list of “goals in life” which included the desire to die as a martyr.

    Police have named Sudesh Amman, 20, as the attacker. He was killed on a street in the south London district of Streatham on Sunday afternoon by armed officers who had been carrying out surveillance on him.
