I am guessing that right now he is conferring with his financial advisors and lawyers,trying to decide which network tv contract to sign to become their political expert. We will know who bid the highest when we see him one one of the Sunday talking head shows.

Collins and Romney should be shunned in the Halls of Congress...

I don't think its fair to lump Collins and Romney together.  Collins is in a tough reelection campaign and she already took one "hit" when she supported the Kavanaugh nomination.  It wouldn't surprise me if McConnell gave his okay to Collins ... once he had the votes.

Romney, however, is just a bitter dick.

Totally agree.  I know why most of the Usual Suspects are usually suspect...they live in tough States for a Pubbie, but Romney, he stands alone as a bitter wick.  He could be "good," but has chosen not to.  His crap is rubbing off on the formerly-good Lee.

Collins is always on a tightrope but she usually comes through when it counts. I'm not sure she wouldn't have this time too if that's what it took. And lets face it - it's not like there's any realistic chance whatsoever of a reliably consistent conservative winning and holding that seat.
