So far, #Nadler is just citing other people's opinions, his own opinion, and argumentative conclusory rhetoric, none of which is considered admissible evidence in a trial. His failure to cite actual evidence is a sign he doesn't have any.

Trump lawyer Sekulow just told reporters, "Notice what’s not in the articles of impeachment: allegations or accusations of quid pro quo."

The *words* quid pro quo aren't in the articles, but the Abuse of Power article is all *about* Trump's alleged quid pro quo effort.

Truthfully...I'm not following this too closely. 
I catch up here.

But I did turn on the tv and saw Schiftt saying that the Ukranian president didn't get a White House visit. I swear I saw him sitting with Trump in the WH after all this mess started. That's when I turned it off and started watching Gunsmoke.

I can't help but wonder how long it will be before the NBC viewers get p.o.'d  that they have pre-empted their "shows".

This is why due process matters. This kind of “opening statement” would be shut down in a regular court of law.

Opening statements are NOT evidence and can’t go beyond what the evidence itself will show.

I believed that Trump discovered that the Foreign Intelligence Services were feeding him disinformation in the Intel Brief to further their own agendas. He then discarded the Intel Brief and gathered intelligence on his own by direct contact with foreign officials, bypassing the DeepState spin factory. This pissed them off to no end. That is why they are so angry at Trump. Because he exposed what they were up to.
