Unlike the House, the Senate will have a FAIR trial. That means we won’t deny the President his lawyer ON THE DAY the trial starts.

Schumer is asking to PROVE INNOCENCE .you are innocent till proven guilty. Why didn't the house get these witnesses? Cause they wanted to drag this way into the election year.  Obama bribed Iran for the nuclear deal, far beyond what POTUS did

McConnell says he will “move to table” Democratic proposals to alter his framework resolution.

A motion to table is an effort to set aside or kill the issue at hand. You do that by taking a vote. If a majority votes in favor of tabling something, the issue is dead.

Schumer on the floor now. Starts his remarks about access for the press. Says “some may not want what happens here to be public.”

It is evidently sufficiently public that people are able to report what is happening, which means that the print media has complete freedom to report what it wishes.  They just can't mug for cameras, posture, and turn it into a circus.
