I am a staunch believer in TERM LIMITS.  But until such time that we get there, I think we can reduce government by going to ONE SENATOR PER STATE, and doubling the number of people an individual Representative represents in the House.  Too much bureaucracy.  It is much more difficult to gain consensus with large numbers.  It is out of control and for a very long time ineffective.

Roamer...you are wrong.  I do not love everything Trump says and does.  He has his problems.  Fact is, I tune him out usually unless I am at a rally.  His rallies say it all.  There is no mistake who he is working for in this country, unlike any other president in my 66 years.

And in terms of polls and such, I trust them less than I trust politicians.  Our media in the USA is worse than the media in the USSR during the communist years.  No one in America knows what and who to trust when it comes to news.  That is not a good place to be.  I suspect for the rest of my life, media will continue to get even worse yet.  I could see media attempting to fix elections proactively for their billionaire owners.  And with Soros running around with his anarchy agenda, nothing good will come of that either.

So, my view of the future is bleak after Trump.  We have globalists on both sides of the aisle waiting for Trump to leave in one or five years, and then they continue with their agenda.  And I am of the opinion these people are the worst enemies the USA has ever dealt with.  And who does that include?  Well, so far the Bushes, Clintons and Obama.  I suspect the next POTUS will be a globalist again because the majority of voters are just not tuned in to what the globalists are doing.  And both sides of the aisle are controlled, so don't look to these self serving globalist to save the day.

As I've stated before; the illegals who are coming across and are being given asylum in the U.S. will be eligible to apply for citizenship within 5 years -- they will have the right to vote.  That in itself will change the DEM voting base significantly.  The demographics of the country are changing due to liberal migration from high tax states to lower tax states.  That will change some states from red to purple.  It's just a matter of time before we see the GOP voters being outnumbered and I don't think we will see another GOP president for a very long time...especially if the DEMS take the majority in both Houses.  We will see changes to the electoral process and certainly asylum for illegals -- mathematically it will be impossible for the GOP to win.

Then you have set yourself up to accept a dictator. Reducing congress increases the presidency. The balance was purposefully drawn out. If anything needs to be structurally changed, it would be the matter of the popular election of senators, which should be at the beck and call of their respective states, as they once were. This would also have the effect of disbanding the lobby, greatly decreasing their power, as in that case they would have to lobby the governors just as much as they lobby Congress now.

And I will reiterate, the only thing that will bring lasting change is a Conservative (not Republican) Congress.

Again I do not agree.  Studies show 2nd generation Hispanic demographics are overwhelmingly Republican.  There just isn't anything that will save stupid or communist.  Sanders is a communist, and his semantics are NOT good cover.  People in America are freshly reminded about the great benefits of socialism with one country after another failing miserably.  Presently, Venezuela has proven the attraction of socialism.  Fortunately, young people do not vote, for they are the IDIOTS that subscribe to the nonsense of socialism today.
