First pass on today's events: No casualties means 0 escalation. Ceremonial attack, w/ Iran using primitive missiles & disinfo to rally Tehran.

We neutralized Soleimani, their most revered mil. leader.

After all the tough talk, Iran blinked.

Big win for POTUS foreign policy.

BREAKING: Iran is saying that if there is no retaliation from America for these latest attacks then they will stop attacking. But if America attacks then their response will be crushing and wide spread.

Is it plausible that this could be the extent of the supreme leader’s retaliation, He said he would attack military directly. He seems to have done that.

If no US casualties, is the smart play not to respond and wait to see what else they do?

Whew ... good to know that Iran is so trustworthy and such a peaceful nation.     With the report of the Sec. of State and Sec. Def. just meeting with Trump, I just don't see Trump walking away at this juncture. He didn't deploy additional troops including 4,000 marines to the area just for the heck of ii -- show of strength and preparedness perhaps

The largest sponsor of global terrorism cannot be allowed to fire missiles and violate airspace of another sovereign nation at will. Those are acts of war requiring a forceful response. Just IMO.

I think Iran missed on purpose...more of a face saving attack...trying to de-escalate the situation.

Trump's team has left the WH so I am assuming no response from US tonight?

IF this is all they do & all they accomplished, Trump would be wise to leave off there. Iran needed to save face.

Looks like Iran's attack tonight was relatively harmless and just a face saving measure. Their cruise missiles in the oil field attacks were fired with pinpoint accuracy. Tonight they fired 15 missiles without doing any real damage. 


That's what I've been saying....now what will Trump do..
