'A good thing for every American': Oliver North celebrates airstrike killing Qassim Soleimani

Retired Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North lauded the U.S. airstrike that killed Qassim Soleimani, the head of Iran’s elite Quds Force.

"That’s a good thing for every American and every freedom-loving person in the Middle East," North said in a brief Fox News phone interview Thursday evening.

Soleimani, 62, was killed in an airstrike near Baghdad International Airport along with Abu Mahdi al Muhandis, chief of the Iranian-backed Popular Mobilization Forces, days after a violent protest outside the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad that is believed to have been influenced by Iranian proxies.

Considering how early Col. North was on to Bin Laden, I'll take his word for this.
