Trump calls Democrats 'deranged,' 'spiteful' in angry letter to Pelosi over impeachment

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump slammed a historic impeachment vote expected this week in the House as “spiteful” and “terrible” in a rambling, six-page letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday. 
 
Trump accused Democrats of “declaring open war” on democracy with their impeachment drive. Minutes later, in an appearance in the Oval Office, he echoed many of those same points and said he feels “zero” responsibility for his expected impeachment.

“Any member of Congress who votes in support of impeachment – against every shred of truth, fact, evidence, and legal principle – is showing how deeply they revile the voters and how they detest America’s Constitutional order,” Trump wrote.

Good marks and reviews on the letter I sent to Pelosi today. She is the worst! No wonder with people like her and Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, D.C. has been such a mess for so long - and that includes the previous administration who (and now we know for sure) SPIED on my campaign.

I agree.  I think it is an excellent letter.  Very forthright and his last sentence clarifies why he wrote the letter; ..."One hundred years from now, when people look back at this affair, I want them to understand it, and learn from it, so that it can never happen to another President again."

I think he wrote this letter because he knows they weren't going to let him testify.  They weren't going to let him say this stuff and now he has.

I doubt it. Trump probably contributed to the letter, but more than likely it was composed by other Republicans and his staff.

I cannot understand what keeps Democrats from killing themselves. Democrats are horrible, vulgar, desperate people. No wonder so many of them are in therapy. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to live in their wretched, hate filled world. I would rather live a happy life than to wallow in the misery Democrats live in all the time.
