Andrews University Speaker: Churches Should Hide Illegal Immigrants

A recent guest speaker at Andrews University, a Christian institution in Berrien Springs, Michigan, told students that their churches should hide illegal immigrants to protect them from deportation.

According to a report by Campus Reform, Andrews University guest speaker James Standish encouraged American churches to hide illegal immigrants. Standish even went as far as to compare ICE deportations to conditions under Nazi Germany.

“In the law, there is a doctrine called equitable estoppel. Equitable estoppel means that you can’t watch somebody invest and build something and wait until they built it, knowing they exist and they come in and take it away from them,” Standish said referring to the deportation of illegal immigrants.

I guess our good friend, Mr. Stevens, didn't learn that Nazis didn't deport people, hold them for approval to enter the country, give them a place to live, food, and medical care.  No, they sent them to death camps.  That was how they deported people

James Standish needs to take a European vacation. A European vacation in which he spends a day at Dachau, a day at Buchenwald, and a day or two at Auschwitz. You know, learn what real Nazi death camps were like.

I've been to Dachau. Physically, it's beautiful. The former barracks (long gone) grounds are surrounded by trees, grasses, and wild flowers. On the grounds are a replica barracks with four sections that represent the four stages of the camp (from WW1 factor workers' camp through post WW2 refugee camp) and at the far end from the museum building (once the administration building) is a chapel to honor those who died there. It's the most eerie and haunted beauty I've ever seen.
