READ: House Judiciary report laying out grounds for impeachment
By The Hill Staff - 12/07/19 12:38 PM EST

Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee on Saturday released a 55-page report defining offenses that warrant impeachment as they move forward with crafting articles of impeachment against President Trump.

The document, which was put together by congressional staff and counsel, covers the "constitutional grounds for presidential impeachment," including bribery, abuse of power, betrayal of the national interest and corruption, according to a summary.

Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said in a foreword to the document that while earlier reports "remain useful points of reference," they "no longer reflect the best available learning on questions relating to presidential impeachment."

All of these were applicable when Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter, etc. were President.  We don't need Congress to tell us what the Constitution says.  However NONE of them can be uses as a substitute for the complete lack of evidence implicating Trump to any of these charges.  Democrats think that simply saying the word 'bribery' is enough to impeach Trump.

And from CNN:

The comments from Nadler, a New York Democrat, come a day after his committee released a report laying out historical arguments for impeachment. The Saturday report did not accuse Trump of committing impeachable offenses, but it lays the groundwork for a Monday hearing before the panel, where evidence against Trump will be presented by the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees, as well as the possible introduction of articles of impeachment next week.

So the report doesn't even accuse Trump of any impeachable offense.  Yet Nadler says that his case "if presented to a jury would be a guilty verdict in about three minutes flat."

Unbelievable.  How can these idiots even keep a straight face.  The fact that they are continuing through with this shows that they are scared sh!tless of the truth about them using Ukraine to influence the 2016 election coming to light.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

-Ayn Rand-
