To bring the blood pressure down and calm the soul...

"Appassionata" (Secret Garden)
A little melancholy but so lovely. A commenter wrote: Like a single rose can fill a garden so can the tender innocence of a single song light up the deep chambers of the soul. It begs of mystery, for us to follow in its beautiful footsteps.

While we're doing soundtracks...

"Cinderella Liberty" (Ken Shima)

Error 404 (Not Found)!!1

With lyrics (by Paul Williams) - "Nice to be Around" (Helen Reddy)

Error 404 (Not Found)!!1

"Summer of '42" (Michel Legrand)

Error 404 (Not Found)!!1

With lyrics (by Marilyn and Alan Bergman) - "The Summer Knows" (Barbra Streisand)

Error 404 (Not Found)!!1

Thanks for sharing all of that and "Cinderella Liberty", I do remember having seen that movie.

"On the street where you live", I heard that song and immediately took to it. There is even a smashing modern version... most of the whole soundtrack of "My Fair Lady" is great.

Vic Damone - On The Street Where You Live

Error 404 (Not Found)!!1

"I could have danced all night",  another very fine song from that play.

JAMAICA FAREWELL by The Brothers Four

Error 404 (Not Found)!!1

...
I took a trip on a sailing ship
And when I reached Jamaica I made a stop

But I'm sad to say I'm on my way
Won't be back for many a day
My heart is down, my head is turning around
I had to leave a little girl in Kingston town

Great stuff...

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

A bit of Italy.

Ricchi e Poveri must mean something like Rich and Poor.

Che sarà - Ricchi & Poveri

La Banda della Musica - Ciao Amici

Some comments in Polish, this is a type of widely popular music not just to Italy, posted here before and I keep coming back to it. Fun song and of course, Italian is a bit like Spanish, so one can pretty much tell what they are sing.  Well, at least, some of the words.....

This will be played at my funeral, Fanfare for the Common Man.
My father was a welder who, to the best of my knowledge, never progressed beyond the eighth grade.
I am... a Common Man.

Love this so much. Wish the longer version could be merged with the visuals of this performance. It was fun to watch LP & KS et al.
