Napolitano is arguing that the allegations alone are enough to impeach.
Obviously this is ridiculous.
It follows the Democrat argument that there doesn't have to be a crime to impeach.
Essentially the anti-Trump crowd is saying, 'We are going to impeach no matter what the facts are.'
If they were honest, they would admit that they are going to impeach just to impeach.
To hell with everything else. We don't care if he is guilty or not.
I had all the facts I needed to impeach Trump with the Mueller Report and Trump's continual denial that Russia meddled and continues to meddle in our elections. Trump's latest gift to Putin with an American surrender in Syria cemented my opinion further, and now that I've seen President Trump manipulate the Ukrainian victims of Putin, I'm long past the need for more reason to vote for impeachment. So in a sense you are correct. President Trump is guilty of so much that the remaining facts are not going to change my mind. When Nancy Pelosi said "All roads lead to Putin," it struck a chord with what I saw when President Trump and Putin met in Helsinki, and what traitor tot meant when he emailed "If it's what you say it is, I love it."
The good news for your side is a sizable number of Trump supporters justifiably say "The rats and the media never gave Trump a chance. They've always been out to get him, and I've seen too many breaking news bombshells that amounted to nothing to believe anything coming out now." I understand that PoV, but perhaps you'll indulge me that you too are wearing blinders.
The good news for America is that everything will come out eventually, and America will survive 8 years of President Trump if it comes to that. I am deeply consoled that President Trump is about to become 1 of 3 Presidents to ever be impeached, and the only first term President ever impeached, because President Trump deserves it. I am consoled that many Americans stood up and told President Trump "No, you can't ask Russia and China to investigate your 2020 Presidential opponent on live television and get away with it," because America deserves it. I wish it had been the GOP, I supported for almost 30 years, but it does give me hope that something is still left of the Constitution and our people.
@240B I'm sorry we see things differently on President Trump as I'm pretty sure we share many opinions on the Constitution, and America. Eventually everything comes out.
