2 Air Force airmen killed in supersonic jet ‘mishap’ at Vance Air Force Base

Two airmen are dead after their T-38 Talon training aircraft were involved in a “mishap†at Vance Air Force Base, Okla.
The incident took place at 9:10 a.m. CST while the aircraft were undergoing a training mission.
Two airmen were aboard each aircraft. The condition of the two surviving airmen is not yet clear.
News helicopter footage shows one T-38 resting upside down in the grass adjacent to the runway, and the second T-38 upright farther away in the grass.
