Tucker Carlson said the impeachment saga is boring, difficult to understand, and never-ending in a monologue delivered Wednesday night. According to FOX News, Carlson said arguing that the push to remove the president represents the suppression of American democracy by the Washington establishment which "ought to make you nervous."

"From the beginning, Washington has had 'presumptions' about what the new president was like, about what policies voters we're allowed to choose," Carlson said. "Voters weren't allowed to end foreign wars by casting a ballot or putting America first, or secure America’s borders. That's not on the table. Those aren't menu options. This isn't a real democracy according to the people who administer the democracy."

Damn right it does.  And this may be the seminal reason why the kangaroo court will backfire.   There is nobody more motivated to vote than someone who fears his or her rights may be taken away.   The 63 million who voted for Trump are being directly impeached,  but even those of us with misgivings about the President resent the Dems' attempt to deny us our right to render the verdict ourselves.

I used to be as Never-Trump as anyone.  But that's not important now.   Defending our right to choose our leaders is the hill to fight on.  And in that fight, I stand with the President.

And ironically.... it is more due to the despicable actions of the lying DemocRats.....than to any particular policy decision or specific action by Trump... that the sentiment of voters is turning against the Rat Party.

Tucker Carlson is right.  You don't get to vote on that.  It really doesn't matter that people don't give 2cents about impeachment proceedings.  Running the country isn't a private business and you have to run it according to the Constitution.  Which sets out the boundaries that all elected officials must go by.   Its a false narrative that just because those who support him don't care how he gets things done he can break laws.

I don't give 2 cents what Obama or Clinton did either.  Republicans elected this President.  We own him and he needs to lead with a healthy respect for law, not popularity.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

No, Republicans nominated this President.  Americans elected him.   If you prefer Warren or Buttigieg to Trump, then vote for her/him next November.   I, too, will make the choice from the alternatives available.   But I will be damned if those sacred rights will be denied by partisan fascist wannabes who consider it too "dangerous" to let the People decide.

You state my position well here.  Regardless how one may feel about Trump the person (support/non-support/agnostic), Impeaching him and the Deplorable Voters is something we should all oppose.   That said, I've taken some flack for taking people to task for supporting "Impeach and Remove."

People who support Impeachment and call themselves "Never Trump" are in the process of pushing the agnostics into the Pro-Trump camp.  One would almost think Trump did this on purpose.

During the primaries, I wavered back and forth on Trump.  Now I would crawl on broken glass to vote for him, and I support him 100%!

Ditto.  First and foremost, I am #NeverDemocrat.

You can vote for Warren or Buttigieg.  I am not going to.

I stand corrected that Republicans nominated him and Americans elected him.  Because I think you are right if they are the same crowd last time as they are today its Democrats and people who never voted, with some Republicans.

Thanx for the Presidential offer, but I'm good.

I can't believe you'd let a human burn to death because they were not 100% behind the President.   :thud:
