A-10 Still Dominating Taliban Forces After 17 Years
Newly released footage from the Department of Defense shows the moment an A-10 dominates a Taliban checkpoint in the Helmand province of Afghanistan. After 17 years of combat flight operations, the A-10 is still reliably destroying Taliban positions throughout the country of Afghanistan. There are no signs of the Brrrt gun slowing its role in the near future as it is part of the new Operation Inherent Resolve campaign to return full control of Afghanistan to the nation’s government.
