@corbe  That guy (Rodney) grew up across the road from my in-laws place in Crosby, Texas. I saw him perform many times before he started getting paid for it.

@Bigun

I am eaten alive with envy.

Moody Blues - Question    One of the greatest bands ever!!  Hands down.  I've seen them in concert several times.

The group Alabama decided to do another "June Jam" in town with a few other country legends... and it is gonna be just blocks from my house... thinking about selling parking tickets for the two acres I have. If I weren't such a unsociable person, I would rent a spare room in house.

To Gordon Lightfoot.  You are missed.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

-Ayn Rand-

In Memory of Gordon Lightfoot - my absolute favorite song of his.  You will greatly be missed.  RIP

We saw him when he was much, much older in a relatively small concert hall. We had close seats. He came out with very long hair and barefoot.  Absolutely loved him and the concert. We were so fortunate to see him!!
