I just stumbled on this "Sea of Tranquility" youtube channel where the guy reviews a lot of classic rock. A few homages to Neil Peart, so these are "talk videos":

Here, he said he just heard the news:

Remembering Neil Peart:

And he actually has another one too.

Switching gears, I didn't know this.
Brian Johnson who went on to replace Bon Scott in ACDC is the vocalist here, this song sounds quite a bit like an ACDC song to me.

Justin Trudeau's summer of 2017 Spotify playlist listed the Tragically Hip, Drake, and Shawn Mendes as favourites. Donald Trump has claimed to be a massive fan of Peggy Lee and Neil Young. And Vladamir Putin is such a die-hard ABBA nut that he once hired the tribute act Björn Again to play a private show for him and his entourage.

- Boris Johnson reveals he loves the Clash, which is predictably outraging fans of the Only Band That Matters

I have some serious doubts as if the President could be a massive fan of Neil Young, maybe he likes some of the fluffier stuff like "Heart of Gold" (still a very good song as "Old Man" is, both hits for NY),  it's hard to say, Neil Young has such an extensive catalog but Young has been similar to Linda Rondstadt in things he has said and that's bummed me out on him a little.

Trump would have been in his 20s when Neil Young went solo, I think so it's not implausible. (Very) Mentally separating the music I enjoyed growing up from the politics and lifestyles of the artists is something I frequently (and uncomfortably) do. When it comes to marriage advice, Frank Sinatra was a good singer. Ditto for the political views of the Fogerty Brothers.

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

@TomSea

Young is a leftist Canadian poser. I remember seeing him at an exclusive Hollywood party of some type,pretending to be the "common man" by wearing levis with holes in the knees,and with a bottle of beer in his hand,while everyone else was dressed up and drinking champagne or martinis. Young must have gone out of his way to go to the door and pose for the photographer.

Just like anybody would believe he would be allowed to take out the party trash dressed like that if he weren't a multi-millionaire leftist rock star.

Poser of the 1st degree.

Man, I hadn't heard that in quite a while....
Good stuff
@sneakypete
His riffs weren't as simple as people think.
His slower stuff was sometimes trickier than his faster riffs.
Kind of like David Gilmour can be.

Yup! A master of his craft. First time I heard him on the radio,I thought it WAS Gilmour. Which was pretty high praise.
