Rosanne Cash  -  September When It Comes

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

@sneakypete  since their father is a musician and they travel with him, they are familiar with different groups; especially drummers and guitarists ... what the boys don't realize is exactly how good they really are.  They have now played 292 songs. I have had a blast watching them and watching their talent grow! Yep, they are a bright spot in my life (especially during the pandemic).

Keep in mind, that these kids have only been playing for a couple of years. There is a video of their Dad teaching them songs and then they are able usually to play it with very little practice, usually the same day!

They've been recognized and contacted by a few people; Jimmy Buffet, Randy Bachman (BTO), Phil Collins, Paul Simon, and some others that I  don't remember offhand.

Their song cover of the Rolling Stones Gimme Shelter has had over 2,000,000 views on 'youtube'.  happy77

They are absolutely adorable. I’m going to waste tons of time looking at their videos!
Brothers, sisters, come on down to that river
Guaranteed you'll never be the same
There's a fountain flowing from the heart of the Savior
Bring your sins and all your guilty stains
Let that river of life wash it all away

An old Townes Van Zandt song that a few Lesbians with Guitar, Banjo and a Mandolin cover well.

This should probably go on the Music for Squares thread, but I'm posting it here in keeping with the September theme. It's a significant song for me and events in my life. It's also a beautiful song. Maybe someone here will enjoy it, but I'll also post it on the Squares thread in case there are others like me who are relatively uncool and who are cool with that.

I don't think so @sneakypete but I could be wrong. I'm too stoned and drunk to google it.

@AllThatJazzZ

I remember that song well. It got a LOT of airplay back then, and may have been the first electronic "Ear bug". There is no "unhearing" it once it is played.

Beautiful, nostalgic song. I remember Andy Williams’ version that my grandparents played on their stereo.

STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN - Led Zepplin

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I do recall that song, and the first thing that popped in my mind was “April, Come She Will” by Simon and Garfunkel
G-d bless America. G-d bless us all

Or an older dog or cat. They're true love❤️
