No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

@corbe

He really does have a VERY good voice,and his backing band is great,too.  Unfortunately,the music biz is maybe the toughest nut to crack there is. Being successful seems to have more to do with luck than it does talent.

Half of that was VERY good. The other half was,is,and will always be crap. It's "music" on in the sense that it has a background beat. The rest of it is stupid spouting stupid.

If you can't sing and want to be a musician,learn how to play a damn instrument!

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Brothers, sisters, come on down to that river
Guaranteed you'll never be the same
There's a fountain flowing from the heart of the Savior
Bring your sins and all your guilty stains
Let that river of life wash it all away

WOW!!!  These kids have come a long way; especially the drummer (keep in mind he's 9 years old). Here's a little "Sunshine of Your Love" by Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids.  Absolutely amazing, they always cheer me up!!

Ya really gotta give Chris credit for this one. Bi-Polar mental disease is a VERY serious problem and it goes mostly unreported,both BECAUSE it is a mental disease and nobody wants to admit to having it,and because it comes and goes.

Chops also gotta go out to the director,and the main actor and actress who made it soooo freaking real.

@sneakypete
Yeah, I know about it, but not to that degree... His depiction hit home with me... The song didn't hit me that way until tied to the vid... It is heartbreaking to watch your lover lose her sh*t... And that, over and over again. And no matter what you do, not a damn thing to do about it.

That is part of what wrecked me so bad - My mind plays that same thing... mostly flashes of the good times in golden light... mixed with flashes of the bad - gray and dark... The vid is a masterpiece, as is the song - But for different reasons till you put them together...

An interesting part - Everyone thinks she 'finally did it', and there he is in the bar with the ring... but the closing scene is him, back on station, standing by her hospital bed. She lived through it, and there he is, back to take on some more.

It is so damn sad. Pointless. Real.

I never saw the vid, dunno if I want to 'cause I like the song as it is.

Watched the video - one of the few the actually made the song better, gotta admit. Ben Foster is one of the better character actors out there today. Lone Survivor, etc.
