Nonsense.  Whether it's food or music, you can make incredible creations, flavors and textures using a few chords/ingredients.

In 200 years, nobody will remember Quincy Jones.  The Beatles will live on forever.

Everybody wants their 15 minutes. If I had any notoriety at all, and proclaimed that The Eagles are the worst band in 100 years, it would be picked up and broadcast worldwide even though it is nonsense. When you want press coverage, just say the stupidest thing you can think of and the press will cover it and do the rest for you.

Quincy is very talented, no doubt. However, the Beatles changed music. Quincy didn't do that as good as he was. The Beatles were both good musicians and also great writers. Sounds to me like he's got a little of the "Green Disease".
