The Democratic Party at the national level is in shambles. You may not see it in public yet, but there are so many in the Democratic Establishment who have doubts about their non-radical options that twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is getting serious consideration. Efforts are being undertaken behind the scenes to plan an entry strategy while facilitating the exit of current frontrunner Joe Biden.

Our source working with an influential Democratic donor said there have been three phone meetings in the last two weeks between multiple donors and at least one former DNC official. Michael Bloomberg was the group’s first choice, but apparently the billionaire hasn’t seen a valid entry point for a presidential run, leaving Clinton as the only viable moderate candidate. Another source corroborated the calls but had no knowledge of what was said other than the calls centering around Clinton.

Recent polls indicate a potential appetite for another Clinton run.

Hiltlery taking the DNC nomination is the only reason why I would stay home next Nov, and proof positive that I died and went to hell.

Any political party that can't cough up anything better than a treacherous brain-damaged old hag like Hillary Clinton deserves every beating it gets. They don't hardly make 'em like Hillary any more - but just to be on the safe side, she should be sterilized anyway.

On one hand, this terrifies me, as I'd hate to see that <beep> <beep> <beep> <beep> <beep> <beep> finally win.  Be great to see her lose, AGAIN, but not great enough to take the chance.

On the other, we've got to be getting close to deadlines to get in the primaries.  If she waits long enough (say to miss super Tuesday), there would have to be a lot (more than normal) of shady stuff pulled to get her the nomination, which could (please, please, please) really tick off some Dem voters, hopefully mostly so the younger ones (though I don't expect it to make much difference with the dead ones).

What the old guard Democrat Establishment doesn't either know or accept is that Hillary's ship has sailed.
Her heyday was decades ago, literally in the previous century.
Most millennials have no idea who she is or why she is in politics in the first place.
To them, she is just some sickly old lady who wants to be President and who screwed over Sanders.
The Dems seem to think she is some 'magic talisman' who can beat Trump, even though she has lost twice before.
They are just grasping at straws because they know they are going to lose in 2020.
Hillary is the Dems last desperate Hail Mary, for them to have any chance at all.

I'd still love to see Clinton, you know, jump in and maybe, you know, muddy the picture even more than it is now, but I'm not, you know, holding my breath. Among other things, I think Bill's reputation, you know, has taken a much-deserved beating lately and he'd rather, you know, avoid the scrutiny he'd get...
