Ilham Omar recently voted against imposing sanctions on Turkey for its offensive against the Syrian Kurds. She also refused to vote to condemn the Armenian genocide committed by the Ottoman Empire (Turkey) only voting present.

Now we may know why.

Turkey's Authoritarian President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's top ally in the U.S. is a donor to Ilhan Omar.
