US buries ISIS leader Baghdadi’s remains at sea just like Bin Laden

The remains of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the former leader of the ISIS Islamic-terror group, were buried at sea following his decision to commit suicide with a bomb during a U.S. Army Delta Forces raid of his compound in northern Syria.
An unnamed U.S. official confirmed the method of disposing of Baghdadi’s remains on Monday, according to ABC News. The method of burial at sea is one also used following the 2011 raid on al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, and was reportedly done so as to prevent any burial site on land from potentially becoming a shrine to ISIS or other Islamic extremists.
It is typical for a burial in the ground without a casket in Islamic culture and is meant to be done within five of Islam’s daily prayer periods.
