Fox News anchor Chris Wallace argued that Republicans are fighting the Democrats on the process of their impeachment proceedings because they are unhappy with the facts of the case.

Many Republicans, both in the House and in the Senate, have been critical of the Democrats for keeping much of the testimony they've gathered confined to the specific committee members who were in the room for it.

White House adviser Kellyanne Conway appeared on Fox News's America's Newsroom on Friday and questioned where the due process was in their investigation. Anchor Sandra Smith later asked Wallace his thoughts on what Conway stated.

“My feeling is that if you are having trouble with the facts, you argue process,” Wallace began. “That’s what Republicans are doing right now. The Democrats have gotten some very damaging information from people like William Taylor, the acting U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Fiona Hill, who used to be one of the top advisers of the National Security Council on Ukraine. Evidence that seems to tie more of a quid pro quo.”
