You're right. The charges will be pure BS and if the Pubs have any backbone they will immediately vote for a directed verdict of not guilty without even having witnesses called.

Nit there is the golden parachute of lobbying and consultancy positions that keep the Pentagon coming back for more, and makes millionaires of paupers in Congress. You can't drain the Swamp without drying up a lot of juicy deals already made. IN 4 years with no impeachment hanging, who knows what might get pulled out from under its respective rocks? Or they can go back to bid'ness as usual....
