On Friday Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom signed 15 different pieces of gun legislation into law, approving some of the strictest gun laws and gun seizure powers in the United States.

A “red flag” law has been reinforced by Newsom that enables educators, employers and co-workers to request a restraining order be placed on gun owners when they believe someone is a danger to themselves or anyone else, per the AP.

I'm at the point that I believe that Goobernor Nuisance and Dem legislators know the laws they are writing are patently unconstitutional, but enact them to drain cash from gun rights orgs and to take advantage of the years cases take to wend their way through courts to take away guns from law-abiding people. IOW, a Cloward-Piven strategy of overwhelming the courts, gun rights orgs, and law-abiding people.

Our worthless ding-a-ling of a governor tried to claim the drop in violent crime in CA since the 90s was due to CA's state of the art gun laws when it was almost entirely due to CA's Three Strikes law, which he and the state rat party vehemently opposes.

Which pretty much means that every gun owner in Ca can now have their guns seized,because the only requirement is an accussation by an anti-gunner.

With the added bonus of discouraging anyone from buying a new gun. Or even a first gun. Why spend all the time and money,dance through all the hoops,and then have it taken from you because your nutty neighbor believes you are a Kluxxer because you listen to country music? Or plotting mass murder because he or she has seen you buying war movies?

No proof required,only the accusation,and you won't even be able to sue the accuser in court because they will pass laws to protect them.
